Crowdstrike Response

First Imperial Credit Union is aware of the Crowdstrike outage that is affecting banking systems worldwide. We have conducted a review of our digital environment including online banking, ATMs, and major internal systems and all are working properly.

We want to emphasize that their outage was not related to a cybersecurity attack, but rather a glitch in an update that was released. “We understand the importance of our services to member’s daily lives and I want to reiterate FICU’s priority will continue to focus on our reliability as your trusted financial partner,” said President/CEO, Fidel Gonzalez.

Our dedicated IT team will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that our members’ security and account access are not impacted. Our managed service provider which amplifies our internal IT team has been engaged for enhanced monitoring and to ensure we take all proactive measures to maintain our system reliability. These steps are part of our ongoing commitment to providing reliable and uninterrupted services to our members.
