Stay Alert Credit Union Impersonation Scam

Credit union members must stay alert to the latest attempts by scammers to access personal financial data.

We have been informed that some of our members have recently received phone calls from scammers posing as credit union employees. Fraudsters have the ability to spoof phone numbers, including credit union phone numbers, and use pieces of personally identifiable information to gain member trust before stealing account funds or information. This tactic is known as vishing.

If you believe someone is attempting to access your account, or already has, call us at 760-352-1540, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., email memberservice@ficu.com, or send us a chat via online banking. You can also visit a branch for assistance.
