First Imperial Credit Union focuses on providing our members with services that make banking with us more convenient! We are happy to announce that we are adding to our convenient services by now offering instant issue, EMV chip-enabled debit cards at all of our branches. Having to replace a lost debit card or waiting days for a new card can be exasperating so whether you are a loyal longtime member or thinking about becoming an FICU member, you can instantly benefit from our new service.

Current Members

Have you lost your debit card, had it stolen, or need to have a new card issued as soon as possible? We can assist with our new Instant Issue service. Please following the steps below:

1. Deactivate your card immediately using Online Banking or the Mobile App, or call our Contact Center at 760-352-1540, option 0 during business hours.
2. Schedule an Appointment at ficu.com to visit a branch for this service.
3. Get your card issued and create a new pin within minutes.
4. Your debit card will become active the following day at 9 a.m. so that you can start using your card!

Please note: All instant issue debit cards will have a new card number generated.  If you have only damaged your card and prefer to have the card reissued with the existing card number and pin, we may not generate an instant issue debit card.  We will need to reorder from our card processor and shipping takes approximately 7 to 10 business days.

No more waiting for your debit card to arrive in the mail when you bank with FICU. Simply open a new checking account and your new debit card will be activated the following business day!
