The project embodies the growth of the credit union in the last few years marking the fourth construction or complete renovation to its branches.  The new branch will be a full service institution like the community has to come to appreciate from the existing branch but with more convenience in the form of a drive-up teller and ATM, walk-up ATM, ample parking and improved technology.

FICU thanks the city of Brawley and north-end community for 14 years of continued patronage and for choosing them for all their financial needs. “It is a privilege for us to be able to take the next step in our growth plan and share the experience with our members,” said President and CEO, Fidel Gonzalez. “Our progress could not have been possible without the trust that members place in us for their financial services and we look forward to continue providing a quality experience at our new location.”

Slated for completion later this year, the 3,123 square foot branch, constructed by Castillo Construction, will be managed by current Brawley Branch Manager Angelina “Angie” Araujo who has more than 20 years of banking experience serving Imperial County communities.  During the construction phase, the current branch located at 409 W. Main St. will remain operational with no interruption of member service.
